Black Pertex Minimal Down Parka from F/CE. QUANTUM material, made from 100% recycled waste fishing nets, is densely woven with ultra-fine yarns of less than 20 denier, making it extremely lightweight, with excellent tear strength and stitch strength. The down is resistant to shedding (downproof) and weighs approximately 30-35 g/m2, making it light as a feather (featherlight). PERTEXR QUANTUM uses a tightly woven structure to provide a light, soft fabric that lofts the insulation perfectly.
Precisely constructed from incredibly fine yarns, PertexR Quantum fabric is designed to trap still air and improve insulation. Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish repels light rain and snow for added protection against the weather.

Discarded fishing nets are the most harmful form of plastic pollution, and most are dumped directly into the sea because there is no other option. So California-based Breo engages directly with local fishermen in South America and through this programme, nets are sorted, cleaned and cut in Chile and recycled into 100% post-consumer recycled nylon fabric derived from fishing nets.
